1. Agreement to Terms
By accessing icefishuz.com or booking any tour through IceFishUz ("Company", "we", "us"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use our services or website.
These terms apply to all visitors, users and customers. IceFishUz is registered and operates in Uzbekistan. Our services include ice fishing day trips, guided tours and related activities conducted on frozen lakes in Uzbekistan.
2. Description of Services
IceFishUz provides informational content about ice fishing tours in Uzbekistan and facilitates bookings for the following services:
- Ice fishing day trips to frozen lakes in the Tashkent region and Tian Shan mountains
- Guided fishing services with certified local guides
- Transportation from Tashkent to fishing locations
- Provision of ice fishing equipment, safety gear and meals as described per tour
- Private charter services for groups and corporate clients
All tours are subject to availability, weather conditions and ice safety assessments conducted the morning of each trip.
3. Booking and Payment
3.1 Booking Process
Bookings are made through our contact form, by email to supp@icefishuz.com, or by phone. A booking is confirmed only when IceFishUz sends a written booking confirmation to you.
3.2 Pricing
All prices are quoted in USD and include all items specified in each tour description. Prices are per person unless otherwise stated. IceFishUz reserves the right to adjust prices at any time; changes do not affect confirmed bookings.
3.3 Payment Methods
We accept cash (USD or UZS) on the day of the trip, bank transfer (prior to tour date) and payment at our Tashkent office during business hours. Corporate invoicing is available for group bookings of 10 or more.
4. Cancellation & Refund Policy
- More than 48 hours before trip: Full refund issued within 5 business days
- 24–48 hours before trip: 50% refund issued
- Less than 24 hours before trip: No refund
- IceFishUz cancels due to weather or unsafe ice: Full refund or free rescheduling, your choice
- No-show: No refund

5. Participant Responsibilities
By booking a tour, each participant agrees to:
- Follow all instructions given by IceFishUz guides at all times during the tour
- Arrive at the pickup point on time (late arrival may result in tour cancellation without refund)
- Dress appropriately for cold weather conditions as advised in our preparation guidelines
- Disclose any relevant medical conditions, disabilities or physical limitations when booking
- Comply with all local fishing regulations and catch limits
- Treat fellow guests, guides, equipment and the natural environment with respect
- Not consume excessive alcohol before or during the tour
- Not venture onto unfamiliar ice areas without guide permission
6. Safety & Risk Acknowledgement
Ice fishing involves inherent risks including but not limited to: slipping on ice, falling into cold water, extreme cold temperatures, and exposure to remote mountain environments. By booking an ice fishing tour with IceFishUz:
- You acknowledge the inherent risks of ice fishing activities
- You confirm that you are physically fit to participate in the chosen tour
- You accept personal responsibility for remaining within designated safe zones
- You agree that IceFishUz is not liable for accidents resulting from failure to follow guide instructions
IceFishUz takes all reasonable safety precautions. Our guides are first-aid certified, ice thickness is checked daily and emergency equipment is carried on all trips.
7. Minimum Age Requirements
Participants under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian at all times. Children under 6 years old are admitted on family tours only, at the guide's discretion. IceFishUz reserves the right to refuse participation if the guide assesses that conditions are unsafe for a child.
8. Photography
By participating in an IceFishUz tour, you consent to photographs and videos being taken for our marketing materials. If you wish to be excluded from photography, please inform your guide before the trip commences.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by Uzbek law, IceFishUz shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages arising from your use of our services. Our total liability to you shall not exceed the amount you paid for the specific tour in question.
10. Governing Law
These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of the Republic of Uzbekistan. Any disputes shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Tashkent, Uzbekistan.
11. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Changes are effective upon posting to our website. Your continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
